Our Story
Nathan Standridge has been salvaging wood, restoring furniture, and building unique structures for more than 15 years. But in 2019, after some major life changes, he took that passion for the process and created a living, breathing woodworking shop in Leicester, NC. Only, he didn’t want to do traditional work. He wanted to be guided by a love of industrial architecture and simple, country living, and the result became Iron & Pine.
At Iron & Pine, we fuse metal, wood, and epoxy resin art to create industrial farmhouse tables that are as unique as the living wood that formed them.

Crafted in the heart of the Appalachian Mountains…
Iron & Pine produces handmade, industrial farmhouse tables and furniture using live-edge slabs, reclaimed wood, iron bases, and epoxy resin art.
We are located outside of Asheville, NC, where local is king and sustainable is queen. Nearly all of our wood has been salvaged from old barns, downed trees, or local mills using sustainable methods, and for each river table we sell, Iron & Pine plants a tree.
We want to give our customers unique pieces that will last forever, while making sure that the wood we love will be around for the next generation of woodworkers to be inspired by.

It all begins with an idea. You choose the wood. You choose the size. You choose the epoxy resin. And we’ll do the rest.
