5' Black Resin Spalted Maple Kitchen Table
Only 1 available
Aren’t big, slab tables beautiful? But what if you only want to seat 4-5 people? This lil’ river, Black Resin Maple Table was inspired by the 8’ version that I built 2 years ago, and it's made with local Appalachian spalted maple, food-safe black epoxy resin, and Steeltek structural steel legs.
This piece is one of a kind. Once it is gone, there will never be another exactly like it, although keep in mind that I am always accepting custom orders. You choose the size. You choose the color of epoxy resin to fill the natural cracks and voids in the wood. And I'll do the rest.
For a more detailed look at the color and character of this table, check out the video posted on the blog. Although the table pictured is not the same as the one in the video, both tables were created from the same maple tree, using the same epoxy method.
If you have any questions about this piece, or if you have a different tabletop in mind, send me a message, and let's talk.

ABOUT THE WOOD
Real wood has grains, knots, pitting, cracks, and mineral deposits. While we take all the proper steps in the building process, like kiln drying, stabilization, bracing, and proper finishing, real wood can bow, crown, or split on occasion. Each piece will be as unique as the natural wood that we work with.
