These aged Oak cutting/serving boards were originally worn and torn when milled, but after planning, sanding, filling all cracks, gaps, and checks with food-safe black and red epoxy resin, and finishing them with Odie's oil, new life has sprung from old wood. Now, the natural character of these Oak cutting boards is respected and protected.
Each piece was sanded up to 220 grit sandpaper (meaning that the grain will be silky smooth to the touch), and each piece was finished with food in mind. Food-grade black and red epoxy resin and natural Odie's Oil were the only materials used in the revitalization process.
